About Our Machine And What It Can Do

Our Cone Beam CT Scanner is the Veraview X800 from Morita which produces high quality images with reduced radiation to the patient.

The field of view (FOV) can be adjusted which also reduces the dose to the patient further by only irradiating the specific areas required.

The FOV's are:

• 40mm x 40mm = 3-4 premolars/molars or 4-5 incisors
• 80mm x 40mm = single jaw
• 80mm x 50mm = single jaw & sinus area
• 80mm x 80mm = whole jaw upper & lower

We can also scan specific sites i.e. TMJ's or Sinuses.

There is also an Endo function (only on 40x40 FOV) which can help filter our “noise/scatter” from adjacent implants or root fillings to provide a clearer image.

The machine has a panoramic function which can be reduced in size to just anterior or bitewing regions for those patients who cannot tolerate intraoral radiographs.
